Lessons are generally 30 minutes long; however, 1 hour lessons can also be arranged.

Students 5-6 years of age start with 15 minute lesson lengths.

• Playing in the annual Grey County Kiwanis Music Festival is encouraged but not mandatory. See kiwanismusicfestival.net for more information on the festival.
• Annual June Piano Recital is held every year the Monday after Father’s Day.  Family and friends all welcome to attend

• Additional opportunities to play out in the community are available.

• Students can learn the songs they love to sing but the basics is needed to be able to achieve the capability of reading notes.
• I offer all types of music genre – rock, country, ballads, popular hits of today’s artists, classical, conservatory syllabus.
• I believe music should be enjoyed and not a chore, so I encourage students to learn the basics and then play what makes you happy.  If you do not enjoy it, you will not practice.
• Songs students have enjoyed from all different ages include Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Hallelujah, Hey Jude, Strangers in the Night, In the Mood, Disney songs, Beethoven Ode to Joy, Fur Elise, Sound of Music.

• Ages 5 and up for kids, and all adults welcome.
• Teach beginner to grade 8 conservatory
• Theory beginner – intermediate
• Consultations can be requested prior to lessons; parents welcome to attend lessons but prefer once a month

• Hours- Mon-Friday, Adults 9:00 am -7:30 pm, Children 3:30 pm -7:30 pm

• Holidays – Summer Mid-June until the 2nd week of September unless the student would like to continue then dates can be arranged

   

  Christmas 2 weeks following school year calendar

  March Break if requested

  Other days off, Thanksgiving Monday, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday , May Victoria Monday

I also offer service to play piano at Weddings and Funerals.  Prices vary depending on location and song requested.  Contact me directly to discuss in more detail.
